💌 Hello from The Nugget

Yes, I know I said I was taking a week off… but this is worth a quick detour…..

Flyers are now circulating around Molesey confirming that the Pavilion Club has been sold to David Lloyd — the national health club chain known for swish gyms and, yes, rather eye watering memberships.

Before any planning application is submitted, residents are invited to an in-person consultation event and an online consultation.

So it’s official, it’s very real, and it might not be everyone’s idea of a local-friendly upgrade.

See the details below, I’m hoping to pop along myself, so will report back any interesting news, and I’ll be back with the full Nugget on Wednesday 25th Feb

This is a drop-in session, so you can pop along at any point during those hours to see the proposals and speak to representatives before a planning application is submitted.

The consultation website is now live, featuring glossy visuals, a rather impressive-looking flythrough video, and a breakdown of what’s being proposed — including pools, racquet courts, a gym and Spa, plus other facilities.
