🎭 Calling All Theatre Fans — Cheap West End Tickets in Molesey!
Great news for local theatre lovers! Nicola Mathias has recently moved to Molesey and she’s brought something brilliant with her: Theatre Lovers, a Facebook group of 4,500 people who regularly get access to seriously discounted West End tickets.
What began as a small staff trip has grown into a friendly community that now books several theatre outings every month, all at fantastic prices.
Nicola runs the group with her daughter, adding a tiny admin fee to each ticket to cover software and admin costs — and the group absolutely trusts her to find the best deals.
Now she’s opening the doors to Molesey. First you should check out what shows are on offer at the moment
Then if you want to become part of the community, join the group using this link, (you will need to be approved by an admin)
Curtains up, Molesey! 🎟️✨
Got an event, or story you’d like to share, need help shouting about something to the community, get the word out to over 400 locals every week. Just reply to this email, and it will come straight to me.

🌳 Community Tree-Planting at Grovelands Rec
Sunday 30 November, 10am – West Molesey
Elmbridge Council is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves for a community tree-planting morning at Grovelands Recreation Ground (the park with the big slide) Volunteers will help plant a mix of cherry, crab apple, field maple, and hornbeam trees—species chosen to boost local biodiversity and provide new habitats for wildlife.
It’s a welcome initiative for Molesey, and everyone’s encouraged to get involved. If you’re taking part, come in gardening clothes, sturdy footwear and gloves. Tools will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own.
💤 Mayor Steve Bax’s Sponsored Sleepout for Rentstart
Friday 28 November – Esher Rugby Club
As the nights turn colder, Mayor Steve Bax will be joining a sponsored sleepout at Esher Rugby Club to support people facing homelessness across Elmbridge.
The event is organised by Rentstart, the Walton-based charity whose life-changing work helps people off the streets and prevents homelessness before it takes hold. With chilly weather — and even rain — expected, the sleepout will be a powerful reminder of the tough conditions many endure every night.
Mayor Bax will be sharing photos and videos on the night to show how everyone gets on. If you’re able to sponsor him, donations this year will go directly to his Mayor’s Charity Fund for Elmbridge, supporting Rentstart and other local causes:
