🍪The first bit of big news I have to share with you all this week, is that some of us may have been eating our chocolate digestives the wrong way round. SHOCK HORROR!! According to factory general manager Anthony Coulson, ”One of the very first things I learned when I got to join McVitie’s was chocolate side down to eat the digestive, The reasoning, he said, is obvious – the tongue gets the chocolate hit straight away. It starts to melt, starts to get the flavour and away you go. It makes sense, right?” Its the 100 year anniversary of the digestive, and what better way to celebrate than to get DUNKING my friends.
I’m thrilled to introduce one of our very first Nugget partnerships — a fellow Molesey local, who has been capturing the joy, chaos, and magic of family life through her camera for over ten years, and it shows in every frame. Sophie’s style is relaxed, natural, and full of warmth — the kind that puts kids (and grown-ups) instantly at ease and brings out those real, unforced smiles we all treasure. 🤣Kids are back at school - Hooray shouts everyone! Finally you can go to the supermarket in peace, and enjoy your favourite local spots again.
🚌🚌Great news for Esher High school students, who have a new trial bus service, thanks to the great community effort from parents, Teachers, and some local councillors. Approx 80 Molesey students will have access to the bus, provided by Falcon (its a paid service, costing £155 per term, so about £1 each way) If the service proves popular it will continue after the trial
♻️Elmbridge Eco hub - Has a new home. They are now based in Coronation Park, you can find them at Rydens Grove, Hersham, KT12 5RU, through the black gates, into the car park, or via the Coronation park entrance (and stop off for a yummy treat at “coffee in the park”) They have tonnes of stuff happening and a brand new studio space (40sqm) available to hire at just £15ph !! Ideal for small groups, yoga, parent and baby.
